Grandpa's widow

Luke always loved his grandparents. Grandma sadly passed away in a car accident before Luke was born, and Grandpa married Darlene, who was several years younger than his wife. Luke's mom and Darlene had gotten along really well, and Luke spent lots of time with his grandparents growing up. Sadly, Luke's grandpa passed away while he was in middle school, leaving Darlene alone. After Luke finished high school his parents separated. his mom talked with Darlene to see if Luke could spend his summer before college at Darlene's place. After all, she had that huge house to herself, and she always enjoyed spending time with Luke. Luke was very fond of his young "grandma", and they had a close bond. She taught him how to be a gentleman, and how to fit into society, while he kept her young. "Luke, if you're going to be a gentleman, you have to carry yourself like one."
